Nokia Foundation makes available grants and awards for "development of information and telecommunications technologies and to promote education of the sector in Finland". This year the foundation has granted a Scholarship for HIIT/UIx post-graduate researcher Lassi A. Liikkanen. The awards were given out on Wednesday evening 4th Nov by Jorma Ollila and Henry Tirri.
