Scientific Advisory Board

The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) of HIIT consists of internationally prominent scholars who are invited by the HIIT Board. The objective of the SAB is to provide critical guidance about HIIT's research activities and to advise the HIIT Board on strategic planning for future research directions of HIIT. The SAB convenes once in approximately 4 years.

  • 22 September at University of Helsinki Kumpula campus, Exactum building: Presentations of the existing and new research programmes of HIIT; Poster session of HIIT's research highlights
  • 23 September at Aalto University Otaniemi campus, Open Innovation House, room B255: Discussions with the directors of new HIIT research programmes; discussion with graduate students and postdocs; discussion with the deans of the mother universities and the Board of HIIT
