INTERESTS

I study how experiences of using IT are situated in material and social contexts. I combine various theoretical perspectives, such as symbolic interactionism, sociology of consumption, and HCI, to create a theoretically solid yet practical model of user experience. I’m also interested in rituals, creativity, and routines as a part of human-human and human-computer interactions

NEWS

I'm organizing the Annual Social Psychology Days 2014 to be held in Helsinki in November, 21-22. Looking forward to meeting you there!
