Abstract

The online threat landscape does not stand still. One of the best ways to understand the threats is to understand the attackers and their motives. What are the criminals attackers doing today? What about the hactivists? And why do we see more and more malware written and attacks launched by democratic Western governments? Indeed - where are we going?

Biography

Mikko Hyppönen is the Chief Research Officer at F-Secure. He has fought the biggest malware outbreaks in the net over the last 20 years. Mr. Hyppönen has written on his research for magazines such as Scientific American and Foreign Policy and for newspapers like The New York Times. His TED Talk is the most viewed computer security talk in the world.
