The aim of MyData 2017 conference is to support the shift from industry to human-centric personal data management, thereby allowing the user to decide if he or she allows the social media services to sell user data to third parties. The conference also gives insights into consumer behaviour when it comes to opening of personal data. Follow the live stream of the main stage programme here.

Highlights of the main stage programme:

Wednesday 30.8. at 13.15-14.45 The Ethical Processing of MyData workshop in Tallinn is hosted by Juuso Parkkinen. Presenters John C. Havens, Pernille Tranberg and Katryna Dow focus on ethical AI, human wellbeing and how personalised AI could contribute to the preservation of our humanity.

Thursday 31.8. at 13.30-17.30 the Digital Health Revolution workshop in Helsinki welcomes all to learn about the development of and challenges in person-centric preventive healthcare and its data management models. Pekka Sivonen from Tekes and Madis Tiik from Sitra are among the many speakers.
