The Aalto data science hackathon took place in the Open Innovation House in Otaniemi, in the weekend of April 24-26. A wealth of interesting datasets was provided by IT companies and organizations, such as, Elisa, Microsoft, Wellmo, CIVIS, HSL, in addition to social-media data and open data that were also used. NODES Internet of Things research was mentioned in the YLE Prisma Studio TV program broadcast on April 29. The program showcases a wearable device for climbing and a sensor enhanced greenhouse.
