Title: Human movement, character animation, and exercise environments
Abstract:
The talk outlines our current research activities related to human movement, including novel tools for procedural character animation, and digitally augmented exercise environments, e.g., a Kinect platformer game played on a real trampoline. On the technical side, the work deals with human motion capture and synthesis using computer vision, physics simulation, stochastic optimization, and machine learning. The projects have just started and we are looking for potential collaborators.
