HIIT researcher visits University of Cambridge, Prof. Jon Crowcroft

HIIT MSc Aaron Yi DING, supervised by Professor Sasu Tarkoma and senior researcher Markku Kojo, is visiting University of Cambridge, from June to December 2013.
 
During this research visit, Aaron is advised by Professor Jon Crowcroft and working in the Cambridge Computer Laboratory. The research theme is "Efficient and Collaborative Communication Design for Mobile Systems", originating from the work published at IEEE SECON 2013 and IEEE COMMAG Journal (Impact Factor 4.46; Level 3 at Julkaisufoorumi).

Jon Crowcroft is the Marconi Professor of Networked Systems in the Computer Laboratory, of the University of Cambridge. Prior to that he was the professor of networked systems at University College London (UCL) in the Computer Science Department. He is a Fellow of Royal Society, a Fellow of the ACM, the British Computer Society, the IEE, and the Royal Academy of Engineering, as well as a Fellow of the IEEE. He was a member of the Internet Architecture Board (IAB) 96-02, and attended the first 50 IETF meetings. He was the general chair for the ACM SIGCOMM 95-99 and the recipient of ACM SIGCOMM Award in 2009.
