27 Feb 2009 - The Finnish Cultural Foundation has awarded a Science Workshop grant (€200 000) on stemmatology for the years 2009–2010. Stemmatology, a subfield of textual criticism, means the study of the gradual variation of written texts contained in old manuscripts.
The workshop is run by HIIT Principal Scientists Petri Myllymäki and Teemu Roos with Professor Tuomas Heikkilä, University of Helsinki Department of History.
