Break reports

Due to scheduling error SSL certificate used in Radius authentication expired.

Update at 2015-01-16 12:30 by Pekka Tonteri: HIIT eduroam and certificates wiki pages have been updated to contain information about new SHA-2 root certificates as well as information about transition to certificates using SHA-2 hash algorithm instead of an older and (more) vulnerable SHA-1.

Alice.hiit.fi had crashed to out of memory error kernel panic and after reboot crashes on boot.

We are currently investigation reason for this.

Update at 2014-12-15 15:44 By Markus Nuorento: Alice.hiit.fi server was virtualised and runnign now normally, we are stil investigating what caused crashes at boot in original hardware.

Alice.hiit.fi was booted due to issues with SAN. File systems failed to mount at boot and caused extended downtime. Server will remain inaccessible until the issues are solved.

Update at 2014-11-25 15:45 by Markus Nuorento: The break is over. Reason for downtime was faulty host bus adapter.

Alice.hiit.fi - project server was so stuck that it didn't even allow login from console. Server was rebooted. We are currently investigating the reason for the crash.

There will be one hour break in universe.hiit.fi due to virtualization of the server platform.
