Description: 

Due to misconfiguration in email providers service, email forwarding was non-functional from September 17th 2014 9:35 until September 19th 2014 13:35. During this time email was not forwarded, but placed in your HIIT mailbox.

Description: 

Operating system upgrade on file server fs.hiit.fi to Debian 7 (Wheezy). Firmware upgrade will also be run during reboot.

There will be few shorter breaks and the break in whole will quote likely be shorter than announced.

Update at 10:14 by Pekka Tonteri: Samba configurations are still being modified. NFS and thus web services also are up and running.

Update at 10:50 by Pekka Tonteri: Samba configurations are still being modified.

Update at 11:27 by Pekka Tonteri: During Samba server updated its sambaSID and thus started to reject all user accounts' sambaSIDs due to them all being in the different domain than the server. The server's sambaSID was restored and file services were fully functional at 11:20.
