This week Indrė Žliobaitė visits European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) in Vienna, where she is presenting recent research findings in non-discriminatory machine learning / data mining, and discussing with FRA experts possible implications to policy making, monitoring and enforcement. FRA is one of the EU’s agencies providing expert advice to the institutions of the EU and the Member States.

DeepBeat, an algorithm for rap lyrics generation, outperforms top human rappers by 21 % in terms of length and frequency of the rhymes in the lyrics.The rapping algorithm was quantitatively evaluated with two measures. Specifically, we collected house pricing data from Oikotie.fi, an online real-estate marketplace for Finland.
